Lovely color palette, also i admire your background work since i struggle with it.
only on thing bugs me slightly and that is the fact that there are no shadows to ground your character to where she's standing. I think adding some shadows would honestly enhance this piece

MatthewLopz responds:

idk maybe, it's kinda weird idk if having a shadow just for the character would look any good, i think it's more the problem of drawing the character correctly to the perspective, i always start with perspective lines, and there's no easy way to draw a character on a perspective other than practice, maybe also the fact i made the shoes alittle too dark toned it doesn't pop out with the ground at all, you're right with the critic btw but i don't think shadows is the way to fix it.

Love the color palette

ZenEdit responds:

thank you :D

quality work as always friend

This is super neat

You have beautiful color palettes in your works.

PixelRoboto responds:

Thanks, I try put harmonic colors in all my stuffs

I love what you're doing with the colors, but there is a ton of negative space above that is kind of distracting cause its such a bright, cold white

I like the camera angle, the only thing that bothers me is how muddy the colors look. have you tried using different colors for light sources besides white? and shadows that are darker cooler hues. it would def make this piece pop

ZenEdit responds:

carebearpuncher your right i think its because the tablet i use some spots looks darker compared to the post i will do that now though thank you so much

I like the direction this is going.
But I'm not seeing a focal point so my eye is wondering all over the painting and it's kinda straining.
I like the colors, and at the same time there seems to be a lack of composition which kinda enhances the lack of focal point and last of all there seems to be the same level of rendering throughout the whole picture,as well as the same shades/hues of color throughout the whole which kind of makes it a'll blend in together and seem blurry. I suggest maybe diluting some of those brighter colors on the background with a light blue or so to kind of create the illusion of depth and so the background doesn't blend with the midground and foreground.

V1KK1 responds:

Thank you for your input :)
I'll keep this in mind.
It's true as you say the picture lacks a bit of dept. I need to go away from one colour only scheme more and work with all of it. I have some struggles when working with colour though. Its easier with black and white for me but I love bright colours aswell.

I can dig the hellraiseresque theme here, but the execution could use some polish. I'd definitely work on the propritons, and on making things feel a little less flat.

Dooffrie responds:

Agreed! Thanks for the critique my dude.

I dig it
